BIOBOR ® JF is manufactured and sold for prevention and elimination of microbial growth in all hydrocarbon fuels such as aviation jet fuel, kerosene, no 1 and no. 2 diesel fuels, home heating oil, marine diesel and bunker “C” fuel.
STOP FUNGAL GROWTH IN FUEL
Several forms of fungi can survive and multiply in hydrocarbon fuels. These fungi grow into long strings, and form large mats of globules. The growth appears slimy and is usually black, brown or green. It may grow throughout the fuel or at the interface between the fuel and water bottom layer. As fuel is agitated during filling, fungal growth is distributed throughout the fuel system where it will cling to walls and supporting structures within the fuel tank. This fungal growth can do serious damage to instrument probes, filters, fuel lines, seals and even the fuel tank and engine.
Biobor® JF is a biocide used to inhibit fungal growth in fuels. It is used to kill the existing growth in contaminated tanks and is a preventative measure in clean tanks. It is recognized and recommended by leading engine and equipment manufacturers throughout the world as an effective means of inhibiting the growth of Cladosporium resina and Pseudomonas Aerogenous organisms in fuel.
16 FL. OZ. “EASY SQUEEZE”
Biobor® JF in the new 16 oz. “Easy Squeeze” container is specifically packaged for the customer that wishes to treat their fuel in the proper manner (1 oz. / 40 gal.-shock, 1 oz. / 75 gal.-maintenance). This “Easy Squeeze” package provides the consumer the opportunity to semi-blend the Biobor® JF into the fuel as the tank is filled.
