Between the refinery and your engine there are a million microscopic things that can go wrong. Rust, dirt, algae, and water, which condenses right inside your fuel tank. No matter how carefully fuel is handles and stored, trouble finds it way in. That's why Racor has engineered a full line of performance enhancing additives - from cold weather diesels and gasoline conditioners to biocide, lube oil and coolant treatments. All are alcohol free, enhanced performance and prevent corrosion. Racor additives are concentrated for higher treatment rates, lowering cost per gallon. They are the perfect complement to everything you’ve come to expect from Raco.

One (1) oz. treats 8 gallons of diesel fuel. Typical treats level is 530 PPM

Handling and Storage
Must be stored at temperatures above 32F (0oC).

Racor Diesel Winter Plus+ may be stored at up to 100oF (38oC). Viscosity of the additive is low enough to provide good handling under ambient conditions.

Tanks should have adequate agitation to avoid excessive skin temperatures. Dry conditions are essential since water may promote decomposition of the additive.

The recommended method of blending is direct metered upstream of the pump will ensure homogeneity of the blend. If added batch wise, make addition while fuel is being added to ensure adequate mixing.

Racor Diesel Winter Plus+ is added to middle petroleum distillates such as No.2 heating oil and diesel fuel to improve their low temperature operability as measure by pour point and cold filter plugging point. The additive modifies the shape and size of was crystals in middle petroleum distillates, helping to prevent the plugging of lines, filter screens and valves. Racor Diesel Winter Plus+ contains a deicer, which can help reduce line freezing.
