SPECIFICATIONS, Treatment Ratio, fuel: Racor Diesel Biocide may be applied to fuel tanks, storage tanks, tank cars, pipeline, or blending tanks. Its should be fed by injection the product into the fill line as the fuel is being added or added batch wise while the fuel is being added to insure adequate mixing.

CRUDE AND REFINED OILS, Racor Diesel Biocide is not tested for use in aviation fuels, crude oils and refined oils. Racor Diesel Biocide should be added to the oil as in is being transferred from the shipping container to the storage tank at the rate of 2.4 to 24.0 fluid ounces per 1,000 gallons of oil. Addition should be made batch wide where mixing occurs or continuously to the suction side of the transfer pump.

Racor Diesel Biocide is a multifunctional petroleum distillate fuel additive. It is used to help maintain color stability and clarity, control bacteria, fungi, organic reaction and sludge formation; inhibit against corrosion; and disperse existent sludge.

FUEL: Racor Diesel Biocide can be used to eliminate and/or prevent the growth of bacteria and fungi in petroleum distillate fuels and residential fuels including #1 Diesel, #2 Diesel, and Bunker C. Racor Diesel Biocide is intended for use in applications where petroleum distillate fuels and residual fuels are used - Bulk storage tanks, locomotive fuel tanks, diesel trucks, diesel boats and ships, farm equipment, construction equipment and diesel generators.

CRUDE OILS AND REFINED OILS: Racor Diesel Biocide is an oil-soluble preservative for the control of bacteria and fungi that cause the degradation of crude oils and refined fuel oils during storage. Crude oils and refined oils include, but are not limited to olefinic, aromatic, paraffinic, and naphthenic oils.
